The cameras behind the photographs

For the curious, a look at the way I work.

The cameras behind the photographs

Ready for a changing day

Weddings move quickly. Using two camera bodies lets me change the view without constantly changing lenses, so I can stay attentive to what is happening around me.

Close to the story

A 35mm and an 85mm lens cover much of my work: one for people within their surroundings, the other for a closer view. Other lenses come into play when the setting calls for them.

The photograph comes first

The kit is there to support the moment. Timing, light and the connection between people are what I want you to notice in the finished pictures.

Want to talk cameras?

I’m always happy to chat about photography. For wedding planning, the best way to get a feel for the result is to look through complete galleries and talk about your day.

Your people. Your plans. Your day.

Let’s make something
worth remembering.
